The Sunnah Pre-Fajr Prayer & Pre-’Asr Prayer - why i'm keep doing it

During Ramadan, I am aware that my prayer, fasting, and worship to Allah are not perfect. Shawwal, on the other hand, provided me with a wonderful and highly pleasant atmosphere that helped me improve my faith in ways I cannot articulate. So, starting with the first day of Shawwal (during ied al-fitr), I began taking my faith more seriously this year. Alhamdullilah, and inshallah, I can do this for the rest of my life.

I want to be really serious about sunnah pre-fajr and sunnah pre-'asr prayers.

I know I am very fortunate to have my own spiritual Guru, and we recite and pray Sunnah together on a regular basis. And my Guru told me that in my cases, I needed to be serious about sunnah prayer. With a clear and correct intention in my heart, I want to do this correctly.

Allah knows best. He provides evidence of my consistency, which I greatly appreciate.

When I do sunnah pre-fajr prayer and continue it with fajr prayer, my soul is filled with an indescribable certainty. I'm not afraid of what will happen on that day, or how bad my day will be; I can handle it well.

And when I do four rak'ahs before 'asr and continue with the 'asr prayer, I experience a great sense of fulfillment and happiness. I did my best for that day, and I am not concerned about the outcome. As an overthinker, these two pre-obligated prayers have helped me a lot.

Alhamdulillah, what Allah stated about the Qur'an and Prophet Muhammad Alhamdulillah, what Allah says in the Qur'an and what Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) said are completely truthful. I now comprehend the meaning of a hadith reported by Saidatina Aisyah RA, in which the Prophet PBUH said,

"The two rak'ahs at dawn are better than this world and what it contains."

And al-Bukhari & narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"Angels come to you in succession by night and by day, and they meet at Fajr prayer and at 'Asr prayer, then those who stayed among you ascend, and He (Allah) asks them, although He knows best, 'How did you leave My slaves?' They say: ‘We left them when they were praying and we came to them when they were praying.”

Alhamdulillah. Allah knows the best.
